Stop the Greenwash!

Expose companies' misleading advertising

In the wake of the public's increasing awareness that climate change needs to be addressed, many companies strive to remodel their image to blend in with the environmental consciousness of their customers. Over the past year or two, more and more companies make environmental claims in their advertising, trying to greenwash their image and cover up the real environmental impacts of the core business behavior. Especially oil companies such as Shell and ExxonMobil (Esso), whose businesses by their nature have huge climate impacts, spend major sums on slick advertising campaigns instead of actually investing to clean up their act.
