following the discussion within the cross-sectoral-network on the financial crisis as well as informal contacts between several civil society organisations that have been approached by members of the European Parliament in the quest of developing counter-expertise in the field of financial regulation (see www.finance-watch.org),
you are invited to discuss the standpoint of civil-society towards the MEP’s call for a “finance-watch”, to exchange experiences and build joint capacities to influence financial regulation, and to plan joint campaign activities for sustainable finance.
The conference will take place at
- Mundo-B, Rue d’Edimbourg 26, Bruxelles, Belgium [click here for a map]
(5 min from Metro station “Port de Namur”).
- We will pause the conference for the MEP’s invitation (12:30 – 14:30) and walk jointly to the European Parliament and back.
- Please join us for dinner after the conference ends. Venue will be announced.
