Infernal combustion - Gaz-flaring art installation

Gas flaring is part of everyday life for people living in the oil producing areas of Nigeria. Friends of the Earth's video installation, on show at the European Social Forum, brings the reality of oil extraction to life.

Many signed the petition calling for 'No public money for oil', a campaign run by Friends of the Earth England Wales and Northern Ireland.
