AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT, THE UNIQUE SINDICAL CONFEDERATION OF BOLIVIAN FARMWORKERS (CSUTCB), THE SINDICAL DEPARTMENTAL FEDERATION OF PEACE FARMERS TUPAC KATARI AND THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN FARMERS BARTOLINA SISA (FNMC/BS), HOSTED AND FACILITATED BY THE EPISCOPAL CONFERENCE OF BOLIVIA AND THE PERMANENT ASSEMBLY OF HUMAN RIGHTS IN BOLIVIA

The National Government, represented by the Ministers signing, the CSUTCB and the FDSUTC Tupac Katari, represented by their National Executive Committee and Department of La Paz and the FNMC/BS, represented by its Executive Committee, subscribe to the present
Agreement, that has the following points:

BIODIVERSITY

21. The Government will extend the deadline and will upgrade to Supreme Decree the Ministerial Resolution N 001/01, from the Agriculture and Cattle Ministry, related to the prohibition of genetically modified products.

COMMITMENTS

As guarantee of the seriousness and responsibility assumed, the Government commits to the strict compliance of the commitments assumed in the present agreement. On the other side the Government and the CSUTCB lift any measure of pressure that affects the normal development of the country activities, preserving the dialogue and the cooperation.
