- Raising public awareness and the awareness of 31 FoEE member groups in 30 European countries about the EU trade policies, the 'Global Europe' agenda and alternative visions for sustainable economies in order to mobilise concerned groups and individuals
- Strengthening partnerships with other NGOs and help coordinating European trade citizen's networks such as the Seattle to Brussels Network and the European Trade Network
- Monitoring and lobbying relevant EU decision-makers on the EU's trade negotiating position and urging them to develop a coherent sustainable trade agenda
