'Wrap up Climate Change' 'Wrap up Climate Change' is a collective action that thousands of young people from all across Europe took part in in 2008, in the lead up to the UN climate talks in Poznan, Poland in December. In total 2000 messages, on what we as young people demand must be done to stop climate change, were collected from actions in nearly 20 European countries, and were then presented to European leaders who were in Poznan for the UN Climate Talks. Present at the action were Enviroment Ministers and Government representatives from Norway, The UK, Germany, Austria, Malta, Lithuania and The Netherlands, as well as Stavros Dimas the European Commissioner of the Environment, and Jean Pascale van Ypersele, of the IPCC.
To 'wrap up' means to bring an end to something, and we demand that our International leaders end their long and innefficient discussions on climate change, and instead Act Now!
